Tuition Payment Methods

Paying Tuition and Other Fees
- KUAS students pay for their tuition and other school fees bi-yearly: once in the spring and once in the fall.
- Payment request forms will be sent to parents in late April for the spring semester and in late September for the fall semester. However, for privately financed exchange students and English-language Standard Students (such as students of the Faculty of Engineering) and graduate students, payment forms will be sent directly to the student.
*If your address changes, etc., please notify the university as soon as possible.
*If you have lost your invoice, please contact the KUAS Financial Affairs Division (TEL. 075-406-9153) so that they can reissue it for you. - Please prepare the above-mentioned invoice and your personal identification documents (driver’s license, health insurance card, passport, etc.) then make the payment by wire transfer at your local financial institution (bank, credit union, etc).
Issuance of Payment Certificate
A certificate of payment can be issued only if the payment has already been made. There is a fee of 340 yen for a certificate.(If you are a graduate, there is a fee of 940 yen for a certificate.) If you need a certificate of payment, please contact the Financial Affairs Division (TEL. 075-406-9153).
Certificates require about one week to be issued, so please make sure to make any requests well in advance. (Certificates cannot be issued on the day they are requested.) After payment of the issuance fee, students may receive their certificate by post or at the reception counter.
(For current students: please show your student ID card when you receive your certificate at the counter).
