Health Center
Exams and Checkups by the School Doctor
In order to support the health of students, the Nurse’s Office provides medical examinations and checkups by our school doctor, first aid for illness and injury, and health counseling. Please feel free to consult with us at any time if you have even the slightest concern about your health. If necessary, we will refer you to nearby medical institutions or specialized medical facilities. If you are living by yourself for the first time, and do not know which type of doctor to see for a problem you are experiencing, please consult with us.
The following services are provided at the Nurse’s Office
- Periodic health checkups and follow-up guidance (screening, health guidance, health counseling)
- First aid and emergency response
- First aid kit rental
- Measurement of height, weight, body fat, blood pressure, body temperature, vision, and hearing
- Health management (prevention and control of lifestyle diseases and dietary and lifestyle guidance, etc.)
- Health consultation
- Issuance of health examination certificate
- Procedures for medical benefits (injuries sustained during classes, university events, and extracurricular activities)
- Procedures for Student and Researcher Accident Insurance
- Surveys, research, and provision of information on student health
- Publication of periodicals “The Health Handbook”

- Health consultations by specialists (non-internal medicine) physicians are not available in February, March, August nor September.
- Health counseling provided is always available at the Nurse’s Office from Monday to Friday.
