General

On May 25, KUAS held its first International Day at the Uzumasa Campus. Organized by the KUAS International Student Committee (established 2023), the event aimed to provide a hub for international and Japanese students to come together and share their diverse cultures and backgrounds.

International students set up stalls in the courtyard, creating a mock marketplace where they served their native cuisine, and attendees were eager to sample the unique flavors on offer.

In the cafeteria, student performers took to the stage, showcasing their musical and dance talents. The audience responded with enthusiastic cheering and even sang along to many of the songs.

In the end, the efforts of the International Student Committee paid off, and the event was a great success, and the students are already eagerly looking forward to organizing the next, even bigger event.

The KUAS Student Affairs Center and the KUAS International Student Committee would like to thank everyone who made this event possible, and are looking forward to making the next International Day even more representative of their diverse and talented student body.
