Dr. Takunori Ishihara received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University.
Dr. Ishihara conducts empirical research via field experiments that test hypotheses in real society, basing his findings on behavioral economics, which focuses on the bounded rationality of human economic psychology. Recently, he has been studying how information and incentives can be used to promote health behavior, electricity conservation, and pro-social behaviors such as acts of kindness.
