Dean Tabata Pays a Visit to Wichita State University

On January 25, 2023, Dr. Osamu Tabata Dean of Faculty of Engineering at KUAS visited The Smart Factory @ Wichita, the US home of The Smart Factory, and Wichita State University (WSU), which co-operates the facility.

The Smart Factory @ Wichita and WSU promote collaboration in both human resource development and business, as well as social contribution through STEM education. On the occasion of Dean Tabata’s visit, they agreed to proceed with collaboration with KUAS. The collaborations will be centered around the exchanging of human resources and co-hosting of events.

Kyoto University of Advanced Science and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC jointly opened “Smart Factory @ Kyoto” at KUAS Uzumasa Campus in 2021 to promote manufacturing DX through industry-academia collaboration.
