Ryoko Manabe, a Graduate Student in Bioenvironmental Studies Presents at ICLEE2024

Ryoko Manabe, a second-year graduate student in Bioenvironmental Sciences at Kyoto University of Advanced Science, successfully presented her research at the 14th International Consortium of Landscape and Ecological Engineering Conference (ICLEE2024). ICLEE, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is a leading international organization publishing the prestigious journal Landscape and Ecological Engineering.

Manabe’s presentation, conducted entirely in English, focused on estimating the heat stress index (WBGT) using drones. This research was previously published in the organization’s journal. Despite the conference’s broad appeal, several attendees expressed interest in Manabe’s work, highlighting its relevance and significance.

It is anticipated that ICLEE will continue to serve as a platform for disseminating groundbreaking research on a global scale.
