研究内容

Various fields of science constantly need organic molecules which can be used as bioactive agents such as drugs and chemical probes. My research focuses on developing such organic molecules by using tools of synthetic organic chemistry. Most of the biological phenomena involved specific biomolecules such as nucleic acids and proteins. We design and prepare organic molecules that can detect or control these biomolecules. Also, we are developing new methods to synthesize important organic compounds.
