Job Fair for 3rd year students
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, a Job Fair was held in the south wing of Kyoto Uzumasa Campus. 320 students, mainly 3rd year students who are starting their job hunting in earnest, participated in the seminar despite the bad weather. They took notes and listened intently to presentations by 81 companies and government offices.
The seminar was held at 3 venues on Kyoto Uzumasa Campus. After the seminar, many students were actively asking questions. We received various comments from companies such as “With the increasing number of online events, we believe that face-to-face events like this are valuable.” and “There were many eager students, and it was a very valuable time to communicate with them as well as explain the company.”
Comments from participating students:
・If I had to ask, I would have liked to hear about a few more companies.
・I usually only looked at the fields of my interest, but I made a new discovery. (Faculty of Humanities)
・I met a company where I want to advance to the selection process (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration)
・Not only did I get an overview of the company and its business contents, but I also got to know the atmosphere of the company, so it was a very fruitful time. (Faculty of Engineering)
・I was only interested in sports, but I broadened my perspective by hearing about various companies (Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences)
As the job hunting for third-year students begins in earnest, we plan to hold individual interviews and hold various events in the future.
