本学のサジド‧ニサル講師が、オランダのデルフトで開催されたIEEE World Haptics 2023でBest Associate Editor Awardを受賞しました。この国際会議は、IEEE（米国電気学会）の主催によるハプティクスとマンマシン相互作用に関する権威ある国際会議です。この賞は、ニサール講師の編集委員としての国際会議への模範的な貢献を評価して授与されました。投稿された論文に対する第一のスクリーニング、査読者の選定、査読者のコメントに基づくメタレビューレポートの作成を経て最終的な採否判定までの厳正な査読プロセスを進めることが彼の責務でした。今年の国際会議では、採択率は40 %未満でした。
Dr. Sajid NISAR, Jr. Associate Professor of KUAS, was honored with the “Best Associate Editor” award at the 2023 IEEE World Haptics Conference (WHC), a premier international conference held in Delft, the Netherlands on haptics and human-machine interaction organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This award was given in recognition of Dr. Nisar’s exemplary role as a conference Associate Editor. His main responsibility was to carry out a rigorous review process; including the initial evaluation of submitted papers, selection of suitable reviewers, writing meta-review reports based on the reviewers’ comments, and making final recommendations about the acceptance/rejection of the manuscripts. The conference had an acceptance rate of less than 40% this year.
